Today’s adventure was whitewater rafting on the Snake River. Even the bus trip to the put in point was gorgeous, though the views going down the river were incredible. I couldn’t bring my phone to take photos because we were too busy paddling and it definitely would have gotten wet. Fantastic trip with a really fun guide, Jake. 8 in our boat 1/2 from California, 1/2 from Nevada (Lake Tahoe). Got to ‘Ride the Bull’, sit up on the front of the raft and hold on with one hand as we went through class 3 rapids- awesome! On the quiet parts we could jump out of the boat and swim in the river, which was cold but refreshing, not as cold as Lake Goodwin the other day. We also saw 3 bald eagles while we headed down river. Amazing afternoon!
For dinner we went to Dornan’s in Moose and attended the hootenanny. Wonderful music – You Send Me, a coronavirus song & much more on a beautiful night with a view of the Tetons. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
