I slept in until about 615 on Saturday morning, but was still the first one up. It wasn’t until about 730 that anybody came out and joined me on the living room couch where I had been perched, enjoying my coffee and watching the day lighten up.

It rained all day. In the morning Michelle, Lori, Lisa, Javi and I got out for a nice long walk, watching the waves, checking out a cool little banana slug and exploring a different part of Sea Ranch than we had been to before. When we got back we spent time catching up with each other.

Later we watched, and sang along to, the movie Grease, then played a hilarious game called The Bible is Funny, which is a more family friendly version of Cards Against Humanity. Mom joined us and she loved it, in fact she ended up winning the game! We saw a deer doing its business in the yard. I didn’t realize they could crouch like that – lol.

We had a fire in the fireplace which kept us cosy warm as the rain continued. The day ended with a Mrs. Roper costume contest!
