Fourth Day of Christmas

Didn’t have to work today so I did chores and packed for my time away. Mom and I took the ornaments and lights off the Christmas trees and I hauled them out to the curb. I also spent some time creating mini-collages from the paintings I had made over the last couple of weeks. It is very absorbing work! I finished reading Birnam Wood, which had a very surprising ending that I appreciated. Saw some cool mushrooms on my afternoon walk.

April 2023 gratitude

  • Hiking – being able to go with Emmy and with friends, having a strong body and beautiful places to explore nearby
  • Ansel Adams exhibit at the de Young – Wow!
  • Lots of beach time and dog minding (Javi, Bentley and Otis)
  • Camping at Bodega Bay – taking time away from reading and technology
  • Doing a big clean up of the yard and sheds with my sisters
  • House and pet sitting for Kieran and Kourtney while they went on vacation
  • Participating in a climate action group – learning more ways to conserve resources and meeting very dedicated conservationists
