Angel Island with my fellow trail goddesses Julie and Gabriella
Spent a wonderful day hiking all over Angel Island with my friends Julie and Gabriella, aka The Trail Goddesses. We enjoyed a brisk start on the first ferry over from Tiburon, but as the day went on the fog slowly cleared, playing peek-a-boo with the bridges and San Francisco. We walked the entire perimeter trail, checking out the Immigration Station (what a foreboding looking place), took the fire road and trails to the top of Mt. Livermore for amazing views, and slowly ambled our way back to sunny Ayala Cove to wait for the ferry back home. It sure felt good to sit down!
