Started the day having breakfast with Annemarie at Sherry’s Kitchen in Pleasant Hill. A great place that seemed very popular with the locals. My linguisa scramble was delicious and huge- I’ve got enough for breakfast tomorrow! On the way back to mom’s we stopped at a roadside attraction next to the freeway in Corte Madera that I had passed for years but never checked out. Lots of larger than life items – the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, a number 2 pencil, massive picnic table – and slides coming out of windows and doors. In the back there were dozens of chickens, baby chicks and a very loud rooster!
