On our way to the Camino! We had a rainy stopover in Boston, then headed to Madrid. Unfortunately after a few hours our flight was diverted to JFK because of a mechanical issue. After several hours we reboarded at midnight and finally arrived in Madrid at 1:30pm. We stood in a Disneyland line for passport control, found the shuttle to the bus terminal and managed to get tickets on the later bus to Porto (we were originally scheduled to take the 9:15 am bus). Michelle was a trooper figuring out the instructions that were only in Spanish. We rested, grateful we didn’t have to worry about any more airport delays!
