Had a very slow start to the day, I didn’t sleep well last night, probably because I had some coffee in the afternoon, so I was glad I didn’t have to be anywhere early. I steam cleaned the carpet in mom‘s hallway – what a difference it makes! I am going to be dog and housesitting for the next week so I got myself packed up.
As I always like to do in a new place I checked out some of the little free libraries and was so excited to find a book about the women who wrote the Nancy Drew mysteries (no, Carolyn Keene was not a real person!) Like many girls the Nancy Drew mysteries were some my favorite books when I was in elementary school. I couldn’t get enough of those yellow hardback books!
