A Chill Day

Today was my last full day in Jackson. I spent the morning catching up on my blog and packing up, then went for a walk in the rain to the grocery store for last minute supplies. Afterwards I headed out to the sculpture trail at the Museum of Wildlife Art – I love seeing art in a natural setting, and the sweeping vistas added to the dramatic feeling of the art.

Despite the rain and cooler temps, I was craving ice cream so got myself some delicious mint chip from Moo’s Gourmet Ice Cream-definitely one of the best ice creams I’ve had with real mint, not fake flavoring.

I wandered into the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar just to say I’d been there, but since I’m not big on going to bars, especially on my own, and didn’t feel like paying for an overpriced drink, I had a look around at the fully-occupied saddle bar stools and busy pool tables, then headed home. I was much happier fixing dinner and hanging out with Christina and Eileen (and Javi too!) Tomorrow I’m off to Park City to spend time with a friend-yeah! A new place to explore.

  1. So glad to come back. I know I’ve missed many posts> What a perfect one to read. We loved Jackson Hole, Wyoming and that wonderful museum of natural art!! That area was one of my favorite travels ever. Glad you had a chance to enjoy it.

We missed the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.
