I was able to get my sheets washed and hung up on the line, they smelled so good after a day in the sunshine. We ended up with a smaller group than expected because of vacation schedules and Bay Area traffic jams, but it was great getting to spend time with Aunt Annie and Rachel along with my mom and a couple of my sisters. We all had a good laugh looking through old photo albums of pictures of us back in the 70s and early 80s \u2013 got to love those clothes. It\u2019s always wonderful to see mom spending time with her best friend Ann, and of course we always learn a few new stories about their busy social lives when they were single and living in San Francisco in the 1960s.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" data-id=\"6146\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/taohurley.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1485.jpeg?resize=320%2C240&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/taohurley.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1485.jpeg?w=320&amp;ssl=1 320w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/taohurley.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG_1485.jpeg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I took Javi back with me to hang out with Otis and give Chrissy a chance to get in some kayaking, and have a chance to read a book and enjoy a glass of wine at the Sausalito Cruising Club. It\u2019s the least I can do after all the times she took my kids on adventures when they were little, and on awesome trips when they graduated from high school. Javi and Otis did really good going on a walk together, which I was very grateful for. I ended the evening watching a little more Ted Lasso.
