Eleventh Day of Christmas

It was my last day at Michelle and Tim‘s – I was rewarded with an absolutely stunning sunrise. I was up a little earlier than I had been so was out on my morning walk when the sunrise happened, giving me a different and spectacular view of the morning coming to life. I got extra snuggles today from Strider and Amicus, I think they knew that I was going to be leaving that afternoon. Amazingly enough I did not hit any traffic on my drive back home from Placerville. I was very grateful I was not getting on Highway 5 because that is where everything seemed to be backing up. While I’m looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight, I am going to miss the quiet peacefulness and the incredible views that were just outside my window.
