Ninth Day of Christmas

Back at work today, albeit in a much more beautiful setting than usual. Another stunning sunrise where the sky turned several different colors over the course of an hour. Got out for a walk at lunch around the property and up past the closest neighbors house, who has a flying pig on her gate! I decided to watch a James Bond flick from over 25 years ago, Tomorrow Never Dies, with Pierce Brosnan and Michelle Yeoh (and a very young Hugh Bonneville). Theresa were at least a couple Downton Abbey connections that I caught – Samantha Bond played Moneypenny and later played Hugh Bonneville’s sister on Downton Abbey and Julian Fellowes, who created and wrote Downton Abbey, played the Minister of Defense. It had all the usual car chases and ridiculous shootout scenes, and while the acting was so-so, the double entendres were pretty funny. Rain set in so I ended the night listening to it cascading off the trees.
