On Monday, I spent time with Javi at the beach, the last time I get to hang out with him until I get back in October. We had a blast and I was very grateful for how uncrowded the beach was. It was warmer than I expected, I was fine wearing shorts and being barefoot so that was a real treat.
On Tuesday I decided to go back to where we hiked on Sunday to see if I could find my sunglasses. My efforts were rewarded when I found them hung on some bark on a tree!
Later that morning my nephews Larkin and Rowan came over. Rowan is leaving for army basic training next week and he wanted to see his grandma and aunt before he left. We had a lovely time hanging out in the backyard. Mom and I were happy with how warm it was and the boys, being from Sacramento, were very happy with how cool it was! We heard about everything they’ve been doing and had a yummy lunch of Super Duper burgers and fries, then all worked together to get the crossword done. Mom and I supplied answers to clues such as Harper Valley ____ and Humorist _____ Bombeck. lol
