Back Home, Beach Time

Thursday was a catch-up day, got laundry done, finished my JNE report and resettled myself after being gone for the last week. Finally managed to get credit reporting set up for Mom after much conflicting information from Experian, that was frustrating and we ended up having to get someone from CalPers to get it straightened out. But at least it is done now. I got out for a walk on the trail afterwards to get rid of some of the frustration from the unnecessary time we spent on it. Later I caught mom up on our trip, showed her the pictures I took, she couldn’t get over how grown up some of the younger cousins now looked.

On Friday I met my friend Lolly in Half Moon Bay to catch up and go for a walk on the cliff trail and the beach. It took awhile for the fog to burn off but eventually the sun came out. It’s always fun to spend time with Lolly, she has a wry sense of humor and has great suggestions for books, tv shows and more. We found out we are both obsessed with YouTubers who are hiking the Appalachian Trail!

On my way back I checked out some cute free little libraries and found a few books, including Women Talking, which I’ve been wanting to read since I saw movie. I also saw a beautiful peace pole.

I’m house and pet sitting in San Francisco for a few days and had a relaxing evening snuggling with Otis the dog and watching Ted Lasso. I don’t have AppleTV, so I am very grateful to be able to catch up on season three.
