Driving to Idaho

Today was mainly a driving day, we headed to Spokane to visit our Aunt Ruthie. First stop was for coffee at Brewed Awakenings (excellent coffee!), then listening to Women Rocker songs and finishing up listening to Verity, the audiobook we started on Sunday. I liked that the ending wasn’t what either of us expected. We stopped for lunch at Columbia River park in Kennewick where we watched water skiers and got snow cones!

A stop at Ritzville for gas and some interesting sites at the gas station (see pics below).

We got to spend a couple of hours catching up with Aunt Ruthie, so good to see her in person! Then it was on the road again to Farragut Lake.

We love the campground, big, private sites that are raked and there is even a free little library! Since it was well past dinner when we arrived we ate, set up our tents and headed to bed, excited to check out the lake tomorrow!
