Today’s Gratitude Journal Entries:
My morning coffee and journal time
I stopped at the store to pick up carrots. I only had two dollars cash with me, and I hoped that the 1 pound bag of carrots were on sale since they’re usually more than $2. To my delight the 2 pound bag was on sale for $1.99 and I had an online coupon for one dollar off my grocery bill, so I got a $4 bag of carrots for 99c! Healthy and very affordable.
Mary Oliver’s poetry – the page I turn to randomly today was so spot on.
Going for a walk with mom in the neighborhood and seeing trees that were very popular with woodpeckers.
Spotting a tree swing and a cat on my morning walk
New books to read- A Hard Place to Leave, Golden, Your Second Act, and Roar
The sound of water rushing in the creek
Listening to the most recent episode of the Good Life Project podcast about coming home to yourself – it really resonated with me. The guest, Arielle Estoria, is a spoken word artist and her poetry is incredible.
Seeing a gorgeous, colorful mural under the freeway
Sunny weather so I could hang my clothes out to dry
