First time I have set an alarm in the last two weeks! Met my hiking buddies at the Richmond Marina and walked along the trail to Point Isabel, where dogs outnumbered people! We saw every size and shape of dog and they all seemed thrilled to have the run of the place. What a beautiful day it was, perfect cooler summer weather.
In the afternoon I headed to my old day camp stomping grounds in Old Mill Park to enjoy Curtain Theatre’s production of 2 Gentleman of Verona. There is nothing like outdoor theater, especially among towering redwoods. The cast was excellent, but I was distracted because the actor playing Valentine was a dead ringer for the guy who played Steve in Blue’s Clues. I kept waiting for Blue to show up and it didn’t help that there is actually a dog role in the play! That aside, it was a wonderful production, and even had original songs. Very impressive. Then, because I’m on my free little library kick, I climbed up two flights of the Dipsea stairs to a free little library nearby. 😝 Definitely got my workout in today.
Had a fun video chat with Annemarie and her friend’s 3 year old daughter, Olivia. I forgot how much fun kids are at that age and how chatty they can be! So excited that I’ll get to see Annemarie in 2 months!!
