Went for a short walk around the neighborhood before I left for my trip to Utica Reservoir. It was uneventful until I walked to the end of a dead end street that had a dry creek bed next to it and a coyote casually sauntered by then hid behind a bush staring at me. Frightening and entrancing at the same time! I got a few (well dance distanced) photos then he got bored and left. I also found a blackberry bush with a few ripe berries on it, nice morning treat.
I stopped at a few free little libraries along the way to Utica, which was a wonderful way to see some of the back roads.
I ended up getting a primo site right in the water, what a gorgeous place to camp! I can’t wait for a few days in the outdoors.
