I slept so well last night, back in my own bed, having spent the evening catching up with my mom. I got up early because it was family day at my son Kieran’s company, Holt. I treated myself to a Philz coffee on my way-I missed drinking Philz during my trip!
It was great to be able to check out where Kieran works, see the equipment he works on and even climb inside a few! There were lots of fun games for kids and adults, including excavator softball, mini excavator bowling, a front loader obstacle course and tours in the huge dump truck. I got to drive a front loader! It was a real change to have Kieran showing us how the equipment works, it doesn’t seem that long ago that we were the ones introducing him to construction equipment. It’s wonderful to see him doing a job he loves.
