I woke up this morning to see the sky just starting to lighten, and realized I was going to be able to see the sunrise from my room. I totally spoiled myself by turning on the fireplace, sitting in the leather swivel chair, sipping an espresso and watching the world wake up. I could get used to this!
Wendy and Jon have a trail that literally goes right by their house, so I headed out for a 2 mile hike where I saw a deer and lots of birds. What a way to start the day! Later we walked over to the restaurant and had a yummy breakfast, then borrowed some E-bikes to bike around and burn off a little bit of breakfast. It was my first time on an E-bike and I can definitely say that I like riding them – it is great to be able to choose how hard you have to work going up the hills!
Wendy took me for a drive around Park City, to see the gorgeous mountain top views and have a wander through downtown, though it was Park Silly Sunday, basically a big art and craft fair along with live music and food, so not your typical day in historic Park City. The trees are starting to change-wish I could come back in a couple of weeks when they are even further along!
